The Bridge and Kindergarten classes produced a beautiful wintery scene using water color paint and bleeding art tissue paper. Each student was given a triangle shaped template and traced two or three triangle shapes onto white paper. They wet their paper with water and then added pieces of bleeding art tissue paper to the triangular shapes. Once dry the tissue paper was removed leaving behind vibrant colors. The triangles or trees were cut out. The students then had to create a wintery background on which to place their trees. They were each given a piece of watercolor paper, painted it with water and then added blue, violet and turquoise watercolor paints. The Kindergarten class added a snowflake print to their background and the Bridge class added Kosher salt to create a psychedelic effect. The trees were then glued on to the background. Beautiful 🙂
I hope you enjoyed receiving these pictures on the Christmas cards given to you by your child.
